Beavers Meetings

For normal Beavers meetings, it is expected that Beavers wear the blue Beaver sweatshirt, and 4th Runcorn Neckerchief. There is also a blue Beaver polo shirt available and activity trousers available, however these are not compulsory.

Formal Occasions

For formal occasions such as Parades, Going up Ceremonies or AGM’s, leaders may also ask Beavers to wear full uniform on special occasions. Beavers should wear their blue Beaver polo shirt underneath their blue Beaver sweatshirt and their Group Neckerchief. They should also wear smart pants, these can be the Scout activity trousers, similar craghopper/walking pants or school trousers. Smart black shoes or school shoes should also be worn where possible.

Getting Uniform

Uniform is available from a variety of different places, however we recommend getting it from the Mersey Weaver District Scout Store.

Scouts Meetings

For normal Scouts meetings, it is expected that Scouts wear the teal green Scout shirt or blouse, and 4th Runcorn Neckerchief with a leather woggle. Scouts should also wear either the scout activity trousers, craghoppers/ similar walking pants, or school trousers with the Scout Belt, along with black shoes or trainers for inspection. Scouts can wear a change of clothes underneath for activities or bring them with them. It is recommended but not compulsory that Scouts wear the red Group polo shirt underneath their Scout shirts for activities.
