In 2019, we launched an award with the aim of recognising those people who have given so much to 4th Runcorn over the years. From chairmen to committee members to former section leaders, we want to recognise those who have made 4th Runcorn the group it is today. The 4th Runcorn C.W.B. Honorary Members is a lifetime award and award recipients names are permanently displayed at the HQ.
Howell Hodgett, Former Chairperson of 4th Runcorn. Howell was Chairperson during a period of change at the group which involved the redevelopment of the HQ. Howell received his Honorary Membership in 2019

Roy Brown, Former Scout Leader. Sadly, Roy passed away in 2019, his award was presented to his family in recognition of his service to 4th Runcorn
Helen McEvoy, Former Executive Committee member. Helen still supports the group and can often be found along with Husband Ed still working away to ensure our fundraising activities run smoothly
Gill Findlow, Group Secretary. Gill has been a member of the group for many years and still sits on the Executive Committee as Group Secretary
Glyn Hammonds, Group Executive Committee Member. Glyn has been Group Treasurer for over 10 years now and has recently left the role, however continues to sit as a vital part of the Group Executive Committee. Glyn was awarded the Chief Scout’s Commendation for Good Service in early 2019 and an Honorary Membership of the Group later that year.
