The Scouts enjoyed our winter camp over the weekend 10th-12th February, they tried new activities such as the Manley Mere adventure trail, whilst also doing activities such as hiking, archery and survival skills. A huge thanks goes to Catherine for providing archery sessions for the Scouts and to Andrew Lewis of WildWood Training for providing survival skills sessions, more information about the work that Andrew does will be advertised in the headquarters on our notice board.
Some Scouts were invested on the dunk seat at Manley Mere, while Scout Leaders created and played their own “Scout” Cluedo whilst the scouts watched films before supper and bed. We also celebrated our Scout Leader, Paul Musgrave’s birthday a little early with a lovely Minnie Mouse cake on Friday.
