Queen Charlotte’s Wood – Working party May 2024

We are hosting both a work day and work evening to complete some projects on site in preparation for the Summer Season and the #BigThankYou Event on the 2 June.
Volunteers are welcome to join us from 10am or in the evening after they finish work. There will be food in the evening for anyone who comes and helps.
Projects include:
Replace Parachute above Campfire Circle after cable has been raised
Install new Festoon lighting around both Campfire Circles
Painting The Bothy
We will also have a list of jobs that are not as physically demanding that include general maintenance.
Jet Washing around Hideaway and Outdoor Kitchen
Grass Strimming and Cutting
Hedge trimming
Bracken Bashing
General Tidy up / Removing some of the waste on site
We would appreciate any help from groups can give with the above especially those who have benefitted from the free use of the site.
