Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Qualifying Expedition

We are delighted to be able to hold our first centralised Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Bronze Award Qualifying Expedition.  To satisfy DofE requirements, there must be teams of between 4 and 7 people for this to run.  This will be a hiking expedition, but we hope to offer different modes of transport in the future.
A pre-requisite will be to attend a team planning meeting to:
Decide on the aim of the expedition
Decide and plan the route
Determine the kit required and who will bring it
Plan food (this will need to be brought by the team)
This will be on Monday 2 October 2023, 18:30 – 19:30 at the District Scout Centre, Moor Lane, Frodsham WA6 7DD.
A follow up meeting to check kit will be on Monday 9 October 2023, again 18:30 – 19:30 at the District Scout Centre.
The actual expedition will take place on Saturday 14 October – Sunday 15 October 2023.
Please register for the expedition by 29 September 2023.
Participants must be either Explorer Scouts or Explorer Scout Young Leaders registered for the Bronze Award through Scouts and be under 18 to attend.  To register for Duke of Edinburgh please follow the link below:
