Thursday 15th October 2020

You are invited to join us for our EGM. We have had a few changes and updates since the AGM which need approval by the Group Scout Council. We would like to appoint a new treasurer. Darroll McCulloch has indicated he is willing to take on the role. We will also be putting the accounts up for approval, these have now been signed off by the independent examiner. Our new GSL will also be introducing himself to parents and will be taking any questions you may have.

Darroll McCulloch

Darroll was formerly the district treasurer for 17 years and has plenty of experience in accounting. He initially was going to be our independent examiner, however has now agreed to take on the role of Group Treasurer.

Barry will always be a part of 4th Runcorn and we would like to thank everyone who was involved in creating a memorable send off for him.

Letter from the Group Chairperson

Hi Everyone

Hope you and your family are keeping smiling through these strange times.

The time has come around again where we hold our AGM. Looking at

what has been happening, where we are at, updating our committee, and looking at our accounts.

It will be a different one this time, as with everything else, it will be a social distancing AGM .

We are going to complete it in an online meeting, and further details of that will follow.

This email is to ask, in preparation of the AGM, if any parents would like to join the committee. We always welcome new people, and would love to see some parents joining us.

If you are interested can you express that in an email to either Barry Newport

Or myself by 8th July 2020.
